Our volunteer groups carry out interesting and varied conservation tasks throughout York and surrounding areas. This is a great chance to learn skills, make friends and enjoy being outdoors whilst carrying out practical work to help improve places for people and the environment.
This engaging session is designed to improve the understanding of why climate change is a public health issue here in York and the crucial role that the VCSE sector can play in response to this.

St Nicks annual fundraiser will see a jam-packed afternoon celebrating local organisations and businesses who help make a difference for the planet, whilst enjoying nature's harvest. There'll be activities for all ages, everyone welcome!
This workshop is ideal for families. It explores drama activities and games to raise awareness about climate change, the importance of protecting the environment and the role we play individually in it.
Visit one or more local homes that don’t cost the Earth to run. Find inspiration for your own and learn from hosts’ experiences of home upgrades.
An opportunity to reflect upon environmental issues globally and locally, by using art as a starting point for discussion and reflection.
