An opportunity to reflect upon environmental issues globally and locally, by using art as a starting point for discussion and reflection.
Our volunteer groups carry out interesting and varied conservation tasks throughout York and surrounding areas. This is a great chance to learn skills, make friends and enjoy being outdoors whilst carrying out practical work to help improve places for people and the environment.
Short, inclusive walks of around an hour with around 1 mile of walking. These nature walks include spotting the nature around us and taking time to pause and connect.
Do you want to help tackle climate change? Our Climate Fresk workshop will teach you the science behind climate change and empower you to take action.
A fireside chat and knowledge exchange with York's greenest organisations.
Uncover the intricacies of our impact on biodiversity through the interactive lens of a game that transforms ecological understanding into an engaging experience.

St Nicks annual fundraiser will see a jam-packed afternoon celebrating local organisations and businesses who help make a difference for the planet, whilst enjoying nature's harvest. There'll be activities for all ages, everyone welcome!
This workshop is ideal for families. It explores drama activities and games to raise awareness about climate change, the importance of protecting the environment and the role we play individually in it.
