York Environment Week! Get to grips with the Ecological Crisis

Event Description

What is biodiversity?

Biodiversity is the living world around us – the plants, animals, insects, fungi and microorganisms that call our planet home. Every one of these live and work together in ecosystems, maintaining and supporting life on Earth in a delicate balance.
Humans are part of this intricate network, but it can be tricky to connect how our actions impact the very ecosystems we depend on.

Join us for a 3 hour workshop to learn more.

During this workshop, you will discover key concepts around biodiversity, the interactions with human activities and the threats caused by its destruction.

This venue is wheelchair accessible.
