We’re delighted to be back for a fifth year of events showcasing climate and environmental action in York. Following the success of YEW23, this year’s festival of green events is spread across four weeks, from Saturday 14th September to Saturday 12th October.

As you explore the YEWs24 programme, we invite you to discover a new community of like-minded people and to start making a difference for the better. When we take action together, we can achieve so much more.
York Opens Green Spaces
For the first time this year we also have a festival within a festival: York Opens Green Spaces (YOGS) on the weekends of 28-29th September and 5-6th October.

York Walking Festival
We are partnering up with York Walking Festival to share a number of walks which will take you into nature.

All events that are part of YEWs24 are open to all, and we ask all organisers to consider how they can ensure their event is as accessible and inclusive as possible. You can read more in our event guidelines, here.
