Mother Earth – Dance theatre workshop on Climate Racism and Climate Justice (12+)

Event Description

The climate crisis and the effects of climate change are not equal for everyone. They reflect the structural racism and inequality in societies world widely. This inspirational activity uses a fusion of dance and drama to raise awareness on these topics and explore how we could, individually, act to soften this issue in York.

This workshop is delivered by dance practitioner Ana Silvério in collaboration with drama practitioner Aracelly Firmo. Voluntary donations will go towards the workshop costs.

This event is wheelchair accessible. There is a minimum age of 12+ for this workshop.
