Event Description
Join the Friends of Rowntree Park to celebrate the end of summer with this community nature-based event. Explore our orchard, identify apples and have a go at
apple pressing. There is a foraging walk and a Tansy Beetle talk. There will also be a range of crafts for families including corn dolly creation and weaving stars, apple printing, storytelling, apple olympics and more. We will be joined by Abundance York and St Nicks.

Some activites should be booked in advance and may have a cost, please book these here. All proceeds will fund the voluntary work of the FRP charity and cover cost of resources for the event.
Please note that wheelchair users can access this event but it involves moving on grass.
