Come and see the new Community Garden in Haxby, with activities for children or just have a look around and enjoy the space.
Join author and peace campaigner Timmon Wallis for a talk about his book Warheads to Windmills: Preventing Climate Catastrophe and Nuclear War.
1hr Zoom talk and questions. Why and how does Slowing the Flow work to reduce flooding and improve biodiversity? Better still, how will beavers effectively do it for us.
Our volunteer groups carry out interesting and varied conservation tasks throughout York and surrounding areas. This is a great chance to learn skills, make friends and enjoy being outdoors whilst carrying out practical work to help improve places for people and the environment.
Short, inclusive bike rides of around an hour with around 4 miles of cycling.
One of our brilliant volunteer pedallers will take you out for an hour on the bike to enjoy the green spaces around the south of the city.
