Event Description
City of York Council (CYC) is creating an extensive community woodland on 78 hectares of land to the west of York with the ambition to plant 50,000 trees by 2023 as a nature based solution to climate change mitigation. Join the York Community Woodland team on a walk of the site. The walk will include information on the woodland’s story so far, facts about bio-diversity in the area and how CYC are planning on tackling climate change along the way!
