Event Description
Urban green spaces can be a lifeline to small mammals, insects and birds, a habitat for them to thrive. For humans, spending time connecting with nature is proven to reduce stress, and can improve both our mental and physical health. We can relax, breathe in the fresh air (thank you, trees!) and reflect on the beauty of nature.
Join us in Bishophill Community Garden (handily opposite the Golden Ball pub) to celebrate and raise awareness of wildlife, and to find out about our Pollinator Project helping to create green corridors in Bishophill, joining up with other green corridors across York.
