A talk on Zoom with Mike Potter from Ryedale Environment Group.
York floods frequently from five fast-flowing catchments combined. Why and how can Slowing the Flow reduce flood risk, and how can it improve water quality and biodiversity in a cost-effective manner?
Better still, Mike will explain how the reintroduction of beavers will effectively do it for us.
This talk will last for around 40 minutes, followed by 20 mins of questions.
