Green for Now and for the Future: Eco Fair (Strensall Methodist Church)

North York Church are hosting a series of events across York as part of York Environment Weeks. There are a wide range of activities over a number of sites—talks, upcycling workshops, nature trails, a Repair Café, a Reflection Space and Lego Church.

So much to do and something for everyone!

Many events are drop-in: just turn up and see what’s going on.

Come along to Strensall Methodist Church (opposite the Ship Inn), between 09:00 and 12:00 on Saturday 21st September, and take part in our River Foss Nature Trail!

We invite families to enjoy the natural beauty of the River Foss looking out for the flora and fauna on the way. We’ll give you some tips of what to look out for!

You can walk as far as you wish, stopping off at any point, such as Towthorpe Lane. Pop into the Church to find out information from the Foss Society. The trail will also be available on-line if you wish to follow it outside the church opening times.

Please note there is wheelchair access to the church but the walk is unsuitable for wheelchairs or those with walking difficulties.

All events are free, but you’re welcome to make a donation on the day to help cover the cost of putting the event on.
