Explore York: Urban Becks Restoration Project

Join the Green Corridors York Team for a walk along Tang Hall Beck through former wetland meadow, Heworth Holme. Meet at the site entrance on Bad Bargain Lane, next to 1st Heworth Scout Hut.

Through the York Urban Becks project, the beck banks will undergo some reprofiling as part of a beck restoration scheme. This walk will give people the opportunity to see the plans for the work before it happens and find out more about the positive impact it will have for wildlife and the local community.

This event is perfect for anyone interested in conservation. For ages 8+.
