Edible York at Peasholme Green

September 18, 2024 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Drop in and see what edibles are growing in September, take samples of herbs and look out for bees and other wildlife. Experience edible gardening in an inner-city garden – at Peasholme Green. The beds are across the road from The Black Swan (as pictured above).

The Edible York team will talk to visitors about the garden. We aim to inspire more growing in gardens, pots and window boxes. Our Abundance team will be on hand with local apples to try.

For all ages, but children under 16 need an adult carer. No booking needed. All donations will go towards seeds and compost for maintaining Edible York.
