Event Description
We’ll discuss how we can build the York workforce to tackle the climate emergency, meeting people’s needs while respecting planetary boundaries, expanding worthwhile, well-paid jobs across sectors from transport, construction and energy to food, homes, education and more. Speakers from regional TUC, Just Transition Wakefield and the Women’s Budget Group Feminist Green New Deal project, followed by wider discussion.
